I contacted Mason capital group to help me obtain a modification on my mortgage. They took $1500.00 of my money and did nothing, I was assured if I was not happy with their service I could get my money back. I requested a refund in October 2008 which I never received. I filed a complaint with my bank and was issued a provisional credit. They no longer have a phone number to get a hold of them, it has been disconnected, and my bank reversed my provisional credit. They got $1500.00 of my money and did nothing for me and now I have no way of getting my money back.

I am on SSI, I have a total income of $674.00 a month and now the bank has taken that. I supposedly have fraud protection because I used my debit Mastercard, but the bank reversed the credit anyway and now I cannot even reach Mason Capital Group or Gretchen Fox and Associates to find out why I was never given a credit, they have vanished and I am out $1500.00 an my bank, Washington Mutual will not help me and I do not know what to do.

Obviously this company is a scam and I hope that no one else falls victim to their scheme, I am contacting the Dept. of Finance and filing a complaint against my bank, I would be happy to join a class action suit against these bottom feeders that prey on people in a very difficult situation and then they take your money and make life even more difficult than it was to start with. I need help, is there anyone out there that can help me?
