To: All Consumers & Financial Professionals I was employed by Metlife as a Financial Representative. I was hired by Cathy L. Lewis in Melbourne, FL. She said my salary would be $650 per week. I was told by Cathy Lewis she wanted 5 applications and $5000 in sales before I can get on payroll. Because she had a bunch of agents quit on her, she had to pay back the money she paid them.
After I do the five applications and $5000 in sales; a new manager Thomas C. Wilson tells me he wants $10000 in sales before I can get on payroll because it will be easier for me to reach the $20000 Fast Starter level and he could get his $2000 bonus. How would I know that if he did not say that to me.
When I complained about Thomas C. Wilson to other employees, he found out and told Cathy Lewis about it. They call me into her office and confront me about my complaints. Cathy Lewis tells me you are combative and you are fired! I have never been treated that way in my life.. I think she never intended to hire me because some of my applications were not processed right away and checks payable to Metlife not deposited for more than a week. I know these are not Metlife values. I worked 6 weeks, wrote five applications, $5000 in sales, and no pay, and fired for no reason at all.
I am a disabled veteran who served my country proudly and writing this complaint because nobody should have to go through that kind of treatment. They stole my clients that I sold financial products to, and stole my commission. CONSUMERS AND FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS BEWARE OF CATHYL. LEWIS & THOMAS C. WILSON.
