North Star Brokerage Problem

This Brokerage firm in the past has felt they were beyond the law. The firm offers cheap services to secure a home loan. But, beware. The cheap service could become a legal nightmare. Their fee's don't include certain charges, such as Administration charges. But, the biggest problem is you are led to believe the home mortgage will be with NorthStar. They do process all paper work just like it was a mortgage held by them. The problem is certain cost in the initial mortgage are not disclosed. You close the Home loan only to find out PMI for instance was not included in your monthly payments. Before you have a chance to protest the additional charges: they sell the loan to a sister bank. You are then now in a dilemna. Do you pay the additional monthly cost or file suit in our justice system. A system set up by LAWYERS. Oh, yes you say, why didn't you read the paper work! Well, you I guess ASS-ume the loan will be sold not to a bank but to a private investor. A bad assumption. They sell it to a bank who by law must have PMI; not to a investor.
