I signed a contract for them to provide 50 mortgage leads, they sent me some that were no good. I had specified the area and loan amounts I wanted but they required another $200.00 for a new database. No new leads ever arrived on my fax, phone calls to Benjamin Straw, Cutomer Service Manager, were not returned, with a satisfactory reason why there were no leads. I told him I wanted my money retured to me, he hung up on me. I had to take them to small claims court.

John states he purchased 50 mortgage leads, actually 55. John further went on to say, “they sent me some that were no good”, key word, “some”. He failed to mention that the first leads sent were B-C sub-prime borrowers. So John changed his filters to target “A” Paper Jumbo Loans which required him to pay an additional $200.00 for a new home owner data base. John goes on to say, he received no new leads and that his phone calls are not returned, with a satisfactory reason of no leads. Read his complaint thoroughly, “…Phone calls are not returned, with a satisfactory reason…” So he is getting phone calls just not the answers he wants to hear. John also fails to mention the bad lead return policy that has been in place for the duration of his campaign and how those leads are replaced at no additional cost leading one further into the blind. Due to the lack of professionalism and the use of profound verbiage I did in fact hang up the telephone on John Mason, no one shall verbally abuse me directly or telephonically under no circumstances. This campaign is not impossible it might pose a degree of difficulty but certainly with the state of the art call center I have complete with predictive dialers and the national do not call registry it is very possible just time consuming sorting through the home owners that went directly to the bank. Viewing this campaign realistically we are in a B-C sub-prime market. John comes along wanting “A” Paper jumbo loans. Correct me if I am wrong anyone with “A” paper wouldn't they just go straight to the bank for their mortgage financial needs? Unless they are under a rock why would they pay a broker points, fees and possible penalties? So further who actually is the one who is presumptuous here to not take into the consideration of the time involved to generate such mortgage leads and file such a derogatory remark destroying one's credibility in the industry. After all John is getting his product as do all clients.

Another significant factor over looked by John is his failure to mention that he entered into a written agreement allowing for the fairness of opportunity to locate these borrowers in realization it would require significant time. Interesting also is John's claim to small claims court yet myself or the company was ever summoned to court. In the mean while as is typical we will continue to dial home owners for John …
