I recently quite my job and needed help checking if I would be eligible for unemployment. This is my first experience with unemployment so went looking for help. When I found this website (http://www.theunemploymentadvisor.com/efileNew.html) so I signed up.

They promised help every step of the way and it sounded like something that I needed, so I paid the $19.95. After the payment they completely ignored me. I asked for help on their "live chat" which resulted in me sitting on the computer for over 4 hours with no response. I then logged in as a new customer in hopes that someone could help me out or at least point me in the right direction. I couldn't believe how fast they were able to answer my "live chat" request and point me to the "please pay" page but couldn't answer me once I paid.

I find this website a complete RIP OFF. I do not recommend this to anyone! Please be aware of websites that over promise and under deliver!!! I would love to take this a step further if anyone could help me out.

Response Times

AUTHOR: Unemploymentadvisor - Las Vegas (U.S.A.)

If you are a customer, you were instructed to log in and download our Unemployment Guides once you enroll. The Unemployment Guides will answer general questions, such as Eligibility Requirements, Disqualification Issues, Amount of Benefits, When to Apply, Where to Apply and if you are denied we will provide information on how to file your appeal.

"States deny most claims for unemployment benefits because people don't understand the legal unemployment eligibility laws/requirements and conditions that must be met to receive benefits". As a member are able to submit questions to "The Unemployment Advisor" who will explain what you must prove when applying for benefits so you may begin receiving benefits immediately (if eligible).

Typically the response times are around 3-4 hours when you submit your questions in the morning. Questions submitted later in the day may not have their questions answered till the next day. The Unemployment Advisors are real people that require time to research each of the questions submitted and they are answered in the order they are received.

If you experienced poor response times, we apologize the delay. We wish you would have made an attempt to discuss your dissatisfaction with ANY of our support staff. If you would like to discuss the specifics of your account, please use the Live Chat support available on our site, provide your "username", what issues are having and how we can help.

Again, we apologize for an inconvenience you may have experienced.

Quit?

AUTHOR: Unemploymentadvisor - Las Vegas (U.S.A.)

By the way, if you would have read the Unemployment Guide or even clicked on Eligibility Requirements once you enrolled, you would have seen that unemployment compensation benefits are available to those who have lost their job through no fault of their own. If you Quit for no reason then you will not be eligible. However, if you had good cause to terminate employment you may be eligible.

To be eligible you must show that you left for a good cause, generally will need to establish 2 points:
1. No alternative but to quit- Unreasonable work environment
2. Employer was aware that you were not able to continue working the same position.

Hope this helps...
