HELP;
Is it to late to get in on the class action law suit against this company, World Savings?

My father was 89 nine years old and definitely not in good mental health when this ____ company talked him into refinancing his house to the tune of over $300,000 dollars Nov. 2002. My father died the following Feb. 2003. I do not have the money to fight this company alone, I need help.

My fathers' house was in San Jose, CA and a goldmine in property value. And this company knew it and wanted it. They tried to fore close on the house after my fathers death, but the probate lawyer was able to stop them, but still had to pay them the $300,000+ out of the estate funds. This was so wrong!!! This company definitely took advantage of an elderly person.

My nephew lived with my father and had power of attorney over his finances and he never signed the contract.

Needless to say this company got all the money from the house after the house was release from probate.

This company had no business talking my father into refinancing at his age due to his mental and physical state of health.

I want to take this company to the cleaners for all the other folks they have cheated and to the ones they might cheat. This company is a subprime lender and they rip off our elderly people.

I don't know how many they have forced to lose their homes, but they need to be stopped.

PLEASE HELP ME IN FIGHTING THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!

Spread The Word . . . File Your Complaints

AUTHOR: Cyrus - Northridge (U.S.A.)

Your story was definitely a case of consumer and citizen abuse. You need to document your case in writing about all the problems of how your father was taken advantage of by World Savings and Golden West Financial.

Send your complaints to:

Your State Attorney General
Office of the Comptroller of the Currency
Better Business Bureau in your locality
Federal Trade Commission
Secretary of State--Department of Corporations

And, definitely contact your Senator.

If you have a Legal Aid Society local to you that can offer you free legal services and an attorney consultation on predatory lending and elder abuse, sit down and learn what you need to exact your rights in a consumer lawsuit.

World Savings is a typical greedy Corporation that looks for ways to maximize its profitability off the backs of vulnerable consumers.

Take back your country and rights. File your complaints. Spread the word to your neighbors. Take you business to credit unions, and neighborhood financial institutions that actually care about the financial welfare of their customers.

I am sorry to hear about your personal experience. And, I wish you the best.

Sincerely,
