Fish Tales Tours fishtalestours.com dishonest, lied, refused to honor groupon purchase, rude, possible fraud Cocoa Beach, Florida

I purchased 4 four hour fisning trips for Fish Tales Tours through Groupon and found them to be dishonest, and possibly fraudulent. I have been calling for months to get reservations to take the tour and they have consistently dealth with me in a dishonest way.  Two people answer, a man who refuses to identify himself, and a woman who identifies herself as Amanda.   They first asked how I learned of their tours. When I told them I bought 4 tours through Groupon and I want to set up a weekend tour, they say that they do not have any space available until 4 months out and they are unable to take a reservation so far out.  When asked about the weekday tours, they say that they are booked for two months and will not take a reservation beyond that time. 

I kept calling and they kept saying the same thing.  I finally got fed up and had several other people call. Whenever Groupon is mentioned, they give the same answer. When the caller say they are paying with a credit card, they miraculously have availability the next day.  I confronted them about this and they rudely hang up on me.  Yesterday, I called again and spoke to the man. He said that they are booked until the end of April and hung up.  I had someone call back with me on the line and Amanda answered. She said they have availability for today and insisted that we put a credit card down. When I informed her that we have paid groupon for 4 people, she put us on hold and never came back on the line. I called back in less than 2 minutes and she said that she sold 3 of the 5 spots and could not accomodate us.  I called back and spoke to the man who refused to identify himself. He said that there was room for 4, but when I told him about the Groupon purchses. He said that he only has a 8 and 10 a.m. trip for Groupon purchases and they are filled.

I went to their business address and there was no business there. It was a public boat ramp park. There was no boat there to leave at 10 a.m. I called and asked why he lied and he hung up. I called back and they refuse to answer the phone.  What a rip off!!! I checked around with the fishing establishments around Cocoa Beach and they said that this company has a bad reputation.  It is clear that I will not be able to get what I paid for, so I am off to Groupon to try to get a refund.
