We have one of the nicest websites on the web -
www.reactionstrike.com. There is a contact me page with an address to send defective materials.
We replace any bait that is defective. We don't ask questions, unless the angler is being unreasonable. In this case, if he really wanted a replacement he could just send it back for a prompt and courteous replacement.
The funny thing here is the guy admits to buying the baits off ebay. How are we to have any idea of the condition? That is like buying a car off ebay then sending it to Ford for a new replacement. Silly, because we warrant items we sell directly, or our dealers sell, but items bought from a garage sale are hard to justify. But, as mentioned above, we still would replace them even though we have no way to know if the baits were really new or used?
The truth is, this person never contacted me and simply had an axe to grind. More than likely this is a competitor, or friend of a competitor who is having fun on the internet.
The offer still stands, but I am sure I won't be seeing the baits in the mail.
On a final note, the tone of this post is quite extraordinary. He accuses me of being a liar but in the same paragraph admits to buying the lures from ebay? We never sold him a thing so how did we lie?
oh, well, life is too short.
Thanks,
Reaction Strike
