I met one of their "writers" at a fishing event and we spoke for a while. We exchanged cards and went on our way. Well low and behold the very next day I receive a call from one of their sales people Ardia Neves. Well she couldn't even formulate a sentence without bragging about who she knows and how long she's been a fisherman. I asked her a couple of questions and she didn't know squat about fishing (I later found out she was one of the owners!).
I for some unknown reason agreed I would like to submit an ad for the company I work for (A major fishing rod manufacture). I received the absolute worst service, pricing that never made sense, insulting staff and above all else NO response from my ad...NONE!! I called to see what happened and Ardia Neves and her Husband Roy Neves (I later found out) would not take my call nor return an e-mail.
This was the worst experience in my marketing career and almost cost me my job.
Please...please...don't waste your money or time on Texas Fish and Scam magazine.
I promise you will regret it.
