Floor Safety USA and Monte Willis told me that I should buy his product that others were not safe. I took his advice and found that the product not only performed poorly but damaged the entrance to our chapel on the missionary side of our Parish. When I tried to get him to pay for the floor he explained how he was in the middle of bankruptcy proceedings and could not afford to re-imburse the parish for the damages.
I would not use this product or trust this man until he is able to fix the problems his product created.

Untrue statement

AUTHOR: Monte C. Wilis - Jacksonville (U.S.A.)

Floor Safety USA has never done business with this person in Memphis.

It is also impossible that any of our solutions could ruin a floor surface as they are non caustic and non hazardous.

This is an abuse of this fine service by a sweat shop salesman of a very dangerous product.

It is his goal to slander Floor Safety USA, as our honesty, fair pricing and non hazardous solutions must be perceived by them to be a threat to their bottom line.

They charge 24,700.00 for a single distributorship. Their primary product is based on Hydrofluoric acid.

They are not a USA based company, so taking legal action against them for libelous statements is impossible. So we will make our reply here for discerning readers.

This is a little information on their primary product:

Hydrofluoric acid is a solution of hydrogen fluoride in water. While it is extremely corrosive and difficult to handle, it is technically a weak acid.[2] Hydrogen fluoride, often in the aqueous form as hydrofluoric acid, is a valued source of fluorine, being the precursor to numerous pharmaceuticals such as fluoxetine (Prozac), diverse polymers such as polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon), and most other synthetic materials that contain fluorine.

Hydrofluoric acid is best known to the public for its ability to dissolve glass by reacting with SiO2 (silicon dioxide), the major component of most glass, to form silicon tetrafluoride gas and hexafluorosilicic acid. This property has been known since the 17th century, even before hydrofluoric acid had been prepared in large quantities by Scheele in 1771.[3] Because of its high reactivity toward glass, hydrofluoric acid must be stored (in small quantities) in polyethylene or Teflon containers. It is also unique in its ability to dissolve many metal and semimetal oxides.

The danger in handling hydrofluoric acid is extreme, as skin saturation with the acid in areas of only 5 in2 (160 cm2) may be relatively painless, yet ultimately fatal. High concentrations of hydrofluoric acid and hydrogen fluoride gas will also quickly destroy the corneas of the eyes.

Their mission is to sell distributorships.

They seem to be doing quite well at it.

While we do not agree with this company's sales tactics, they are creating a dialog about slip and falls and that is a positive thing.

We are not fans of their product, but they have recruited quite a few fine people to their organization.

We wish their distributors the best and it is our sincere desire not to disparage them in anyway. That is the main reason we do not mention a company or product name.

Our primary mission is to stop slip and falls, not to sell distributorships.

Our focus is saving lives and saving resources, by providing the tools and knowledge to stop these accidents.

The fact is, every 35 minutes someone dies from a slip and fall, most of these falls are preventable.

The massive emotional and physical injuries are too extensive to list.

Suffice to say, besides the loss of life, the costs of rehabilitation and long term care is costing all of us billions of dollars. And with our health care costs rising ever higher, now is the time to take action.

In truth, these slip and falls also mean that a person can no longer take care of his or her family, and such simple things such as picking up a child or a grandchild become impossible, their former life is a thing of the past.

This is a link to a recent ABC news report on slip and falls. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JqQGjPOFio0

Help us stop these accidents!

Thank you.

Floor Safety USA/Monte Willis is a ScareMonger

AUTHOR: KEN - memphis (USA)

Floor Safety USA  Floor Safety USA is a Scare-Monger

Monte Wills of  Floor Safety USA does not address his Bankruptcy or how he is putting down a product that has been widely used around the world for years and years.  He is a scare-Monger and is trying to disrupt the lives of the good people who are trying to make a living by lying to them.

Nobody is going to use strait Hydrofluoric on a floor and damage it.  If that was the case many many floors would be damaged and thats just not the case.  It has never happened.  NEVER!

Monte Willis uses some form of acid.  The truth is... if hes not using an acid, then he is using a coating.  If its a coating then eventually it will peel off.  If his product is so successful then why doesnt he list every person that uses the product on his website along with their phone number so we can call and speak with them.  Thats because his product is very labor intensive and takes forever to treat.  Thats why he doesnt want you to talk to the handful of un-successful people that have tried his products once and never tried them again.  Soon there will be a list of these people trying to get back at him for the money that they gave him.  I guarantee you that.

Untrue Statements

AUTHOR: monte.willis@comcast.net - Jacksonville (U.S.A.)

Ken", I have used the product (yours) in question, it works.  Your product details and type, as well as the price of your distributorship were listed to illustrate your motives.

I chose to create a different type of product for my own safety reasons and of those who may come in contact with the solution. Anyone who wishes can take a look at your MSDS and see what is in the product, if they think it is safe to use, then that is their decision and I respect that.

Do I think that Hydrofluoric acid is scary? Yes, and as much as I would like to trust what you say, I would prefer not to be near any substance that has this acid in it. Again, that is just my preference.

Blast works VERY well, we just sold a great deal of it to one of your distributors TODAY, he loves it.

I do realize that is a bit of a cheap shot, but it does help disprove your untruthful statements.

Blast is in fact our best RESALE item. Quite frankly and I do admit to bias, Blast works much better than your solution.  Our MSDS indicates that it is a NON HAZARDOUS solution.

It just also happens to be the best grout and floor cleaner I have ever used. Again, my bias is showing! The retail cost? Just 23.90 per. gallon!

ANYONE who so desires can call and get a bottle of Blast.

We want EVERYONE, customers, salespeople and potential partner's to be FULLY convinced we have the best and safest solutions; we would not have it any other way.

I will tell the world, I and others have used your product and have made floors safe with it, no question about it.  It is a good etching product.

The weaknesses of these classes of products? When the client uses soaps, and with the naturally occurring build up of cooking oils and dirt, the floors become unsafe, in many cases very quickly.

Not your products fault; it is just a real world problem.

Another VERY important point: In floor safety, one size does not fit all. When I used your product, I had to walk away from many unsafe surfaces. Wood, stainless steel, and waxed floors were just not helped by your product. I know you make no claim that they will.

How can we be in floor safety and not have the abilty to treat most of the surfaces that are unsafe?

With that in mind, I worked hard to developed myself or find inventors who had found the answers too many of these problems.

We are blessed to have a super solution for MOST surfaces, I say most, because we are trying to invent a better treatment for high shine stone surfaces. We have one, and access to another, we just want it to be better.

"Ken", if you had that product, we would gladly buy it from you.

One VERY important fact, you say our products do not work....Yet your partner asked to buy those solutions from us, AND one of your former trainers buys and uses our products on a regular basis. VERY easy to prove, we have the invoices.....

A note to all inventors, if you think you have a product that works, please call us! The criteria? It must be EASY to apply, clean, remove and be very affordable. And one more thing, we want it to be SAFE to use for anyone that may come in contact with it.

Now as to coatings, of course we have coatings, and I am so very happy we do. Try making wood stairs, or stainless steel ramps safe with out a coating. If you find a way, I am all ears!

I am also very proud of our coatings, Secure Seal and Supercoat.

How good are they? One is being private labeled for several companies, and a new deal in the works...a company that supplies coatings too many of the nations top paint companies, and to Lowes, is seeking to private label OUR coating. Want proof?

These coatings are VERY reliable and easy to use. Boaters love how Supercoat works on fiberglass they say it even brings it back to life, while providing a safe surface to walk on. And all you have to do is spray it on! Very cool.

As to my personal financial details, the statements you make are easy to check, for anyone who so desires.  I can say this, you are doing a great job at making them better, I got two calls from people who learned about us from your rants.

Sorry if that sounds cocky, but it is true, and I love to give credit where credit is due.

Untrue Statements

AUTHOR: monte.willis@comcast.net - Jacksonville (U.S.A.)

"Monte Willis has also declared person bankruptcy. So there you have it". Dan Hammond

To address this untruth...

I wanted to make this clear. While many Americans have had to take advantage of the bankruptcy process, I have not. I do not fault others for having to do so. It is a provision in our country that allows good hardworking people to get a clean start and has without question saved many families from desaster and homelessness.

If I had to or was planning to use this provision, I would say so.

But back to the real issue, the complaints here on this site are from INTERLAKE distributors.

At to your threat of others coming here, I will gladly provide ANYONE the names and numbers of ALL who work with us now and who have done so in the past. Not a problem.

Many of our customers past and present are listed on our site.

This is completely erroneous and malicious

AUTHOR: acalex - (United States of America)

I find these statements about Floor Safety USA products completely false.

As the owner of a 800 + employee building services company, I have seen many cleaning and safety products. Nothing I have seen both cleans AND creates a safe environment the way Floor Safety USA products do. I have recently started using Blast, VCT Magic, and Brilliant to name a few. We have seen great results in the cleanliness and safety. The products have received great reviews from our clients and our staff alike.

Our staff appreciates the chemicals being non-hazardous and our clients simply love the results.

I find this complaint about Floor Safety USA products, the company, its owner to be completely erroneous, malicious, and manipulative.

Sincerely,

Christopher Alex

monte willis floor safety USA and Sure step

AUTHOR: cass - temecula (USA)

It looks as if Monte Willis and Floor Safety USA who worked for sure step and Interlake chemicals is out of business.  He left those poor people hanging, and so I guess those statements were true.  The bankruptcy was too much to overcome.

These small companies like(((Redacted))) etc. put up a website and convince people that they know the safety business and in the end just leave these folks hanging.

There should be some kind of regulation regarding these companies and their customers.
