sales@vendstar.com a great place to lose money.
I spoke the my sales guy, Tom, he "explained everything to me", as he put it. I didn't need any other information. My husband is furious with me. He told me to be careful. I searched and saw some bad news at these guys, but figured I could do better than those "other" guys.
Well after purchasing my "Platinum Plan $14,995", and other additional costs, I still do not have a viable business to have income. Here's the info, so don't make the mistake I did.

I have read every single posting on this website regarding Vendstar and our company. There are only two honest customers on the entire site! And, you will note, they have specific complaints regarding their use of APS - a placement service.
Yet again, here is "Trinney" from "Kalxton, KY", which is not even a real city in the US (at least according to the United States Postal Service. I even tried alternate spellings, like Klaxton and found the same information - does not exist.
So why do people continue to bad-mouth us? Because they are competitors posing as customers to slander our name because they know the product and opportunity are better than anything they will be able to provide. It is sad that these companies feel the need to use deceitful tactics in order to win customers. Vendstar is the real deal - we have been around since 1991 and successfully helping customers build routes ever since.
If you have any questions about these postings, please feel free to call me directly and reference the Rip-off Report site.

Ned Weaver, president of MultiVend aka VendStar likes to post rebuttals, but does not like to target the problems. The lies told by people like Barry Stern are astounding. I was told I would, not could, would make 6 figures a year. The first year. I was told this was easy, and I didn't really need to do anything except fill the machines. Mark Benowitz was giving me some support, but he was little help, and not timely in his answers. Stay away from this company.
Here are their #'s. Give them a call – 800-998-8363, 888-328-2263. They do not have extensions. You either talk to the Operator, or nothing else!
Total Scam Here.

I have almost the same story. Barry Stern and I spoke quite often before I joined up. Then from there, nothing. Once I paid my money my emails began to bounce back, I guess he blocked them. I put a good 6 months into this “hands off” business, and nothing came of it. I tried to get Ned on the phone by calling both 800 #'s 800-998-8363, 888-328-2263, nothing. I was going to contact the bbb, but they are a scam too. I will be in touch soon with my lawyer.
I am glad that other franchise owner is doing well, I just think for us that are not doing well, there should be a better explanation other than Ned getting on and blasting others for slamming his company

I purchased machines from a different company than vendstar. Their machines are ok unless you know the difference on metal and plastic. Plastic deterorates and metal isn't that great either if built in the certain places. Sorry to hear your bad experiences. The company that I deal with gave me two placement names, one is such Aps which I heard isn't great but you have to make a judgement call.
One other reason for my posting is b/c they advertised on a sports radio station in Philadelphia region and I faxed over to them a report thats not too great. I don't want to mention names to cause any problems. I have one machine placed now and then maybe 4 more in different spots.
One other thing don't guarantee major income b/c you never know. If the candy doesn't taste great the customer will say something.

You and I both know , everytime a prospective new franchisee sees this, he wonders,,,hmmm who do I believe. Of course you are monitoring these and other ripoff sites, this is exactly what they offer the taken, lied to, and when poor sales techniques are implimented,,,look here. as we can see, I am not the only one that has issue such as I do. So ,Ned toe to toe,,, I will be more than happy to offer good news, following a settlement ,,,ball is in your court.

Its amazing on the responses. Heres what I will say about the machines I have. The company that I did check out have 0 complaints. Just needed to check on references. Two down in Fl. gave me mixed reactions. A guy in Utah gave me better feedback. Your not going to make six figure income just like that unless you have confidence.
The professional locators are either going to be right along with you thats if you have 30 units or more. I have coaching support which they have been very helpful in many ways. The company you folks have been involved with have at least 20 complaints which isn't good and you have to think. I'm not giving the company name that I deal with but if you go on a search engine you will find it. I just wish this site would let for permission of phone numbers b/c I 'd be happy to talk to everyone and give my opinions about the business. I have one machine in a club and two more going into a karate place as well as a computer place. Not high traffic but just want to get rid of the machines.
I know how to communicate with people and feel I can do better than the professional locators b/c they can give you a bad name. Plus a locator will want the extra money as indicated on a contract if followed correctly.
The other problem is the company has a right to keep doing what they want. I know this from past experiences. I do wish you all luck on your situations.
Some people I talked to gave me confidence and thats it.
