BRAD SUGARS Action International claims on their website that Richard Bernstein is the US Sales manager. They have filed in several states a mandatory UFOC diclosing in their franchise offering that Mr. Bernstein is an executive with their company. In spite of an avalanche of required documents filed in various states claiming Richard Bernstein works at their company Action International refuses to honor a court ordered wage assignment. This deadbeat executive owes over $10,000.00 in back child support and refuses to pay. Child Support Services a state agency has spent a tremendous amount of hours trying to collect these arrearages all at the taxpayors expense. Although Action International has repeatedly informed Child Support Services Richard Bernstein was not employed at their company when a officer from their office called using just his name they were quickly transfered to Mr. Bernsteins desk. If this company will not even honor a court ordered wage assignment and will even lie to a State Agency I can only imagine what other illegal activities they are up. Buyer Beware when you buy a franchise from these deadbeats!

I am the General Counsel for Action International and am responsible for the company's global legal affairs.

The accusations made by the complainant concerning Action international are completely false and without foundation. As such we consider the complainants statements to be defamatory and as such we will be entitled to damages and reserve our rights accordingly.

Action International is in full compliance with all its legal obligations and does not wish to become involved in disputes of a domestic nature that do not concern us.

Allegations are false, harrasing woman sentenced to jail

This woman has harassed Action International ever since Mr. Bernstein was hired. She has claimed she never received her child support payments month after month even though the checks have always cleared the bank. Ruth Collins has already been convicted of harrasment and sentenced to jail. Action has never avoided or not honored any court orders and in fact has complied with all request by all state agencies. Mr Bernstein is not the only victim of slander and harrassment by Ms. Collin buy if you check the Burbank, Beverly Hills and Los Angeles courthouse dockets you will find many more victims of her constant threats and harrasments including but not limited to Doctors, laywers, landlords and employers. I would request that these types of reports required some sort of documentation before anyone can just write any allegations without clear proof and the damage is already done. It is unfair that forums such as these can be used to vent the anger of such an unstable personality.

I've done some of my own research on this matter and I also found the allegations were indeed false.
