Hey, I really don't know what all the bitchin is about. I worked for these guys for 3 years now. When I started, I did all the calling to BBB AG Chamber of Commerce other franchise owners, and then I waited 3 months, just to revisit them. All the while watching the information available. Then, I did it, sent in @ 12k,
went through all the training. Bought all the chemicals necessary to begin, all the protective clothing and tools. Registered with the city state county as a Licensed Hazardous Chemical Company.
Hired 3 employees, hired a book keeping Company and started the process of advertising, (3k so far). So what is everyone bitchin about??? OH I know, the fines, the lost chemical due to bad mixing, insurance claims in my employees for burns and inhaled fumes. And that's if your lucky enough to get a contract for work.
The promise of "We'll help you land your first 15 accounts, nice some yellow page listing of my town - nice. Leads the promised. ok. Whatever, I knew I didn't want to work for anyone so I knew I had to get off my a** and do my own thing.
BUT one thing, the level of support, the promise of accounts, the simplicity of the chemical mixtures, the lies of safety. The loss of income, ALL LIES.

I have talked to three operators and none of them is happy with the business opportunity once they got involved, lots and lots of marketing and very little actual work obtained. The corporate introductions are not from PosiGrip but letters they send to prospects that you dig up which I feel is quite misleading.
They do have a good product (I treated my tile shower floor and love the results) and it would be a great additional service to offer if you ran a janitorial service. Do Not Quit Your Day Job. I asked for a list of operators in Florida and was told first that they would provide and then that they wouldn't so I found a few on my own - one was in my area and I was told none were.
I decided that this is not a good fit for my expectations of a home based business opportunity. I have asked for $ back, and I got nothing. It's unfair. It is time to stop the scammers.
Posigrip does not give you any leads they give you a intro letter with the name that you supply them. Then you mail the letters.I can not find any operators in my tri state area that will return my calls or emails.
Posigrip will not tell you what any locations are and since you have to come up with your own company name it is hard to find any.There are none in NJ listed in the super pages.And if they are I do not know what listing to find them under.

This posting below claims that "preliminary findings indicate the same I.P. address in all but 1 case." Rip-off Report did not provide any information to this attorney and, to our knowledge, there is no way that this attorney could have obtained IP addresses on the reports posted on Rip-off Report. Unless of course, he had contact with some "Medium" or someone with psychic powers, then I guess he might have that info.

How well does the stuff work?
And, couldn't you just use epoxy and sand instead of what they sell?

That news story about David C. Robinson is from 1897... Anyway I am very interested in this because I was just about to start writing checks to this company to start up. Is there any other "operators" out there that have a story or advise about this company? They have an A+ rating with the BBB with no active complaints against them?

After research about this company yes as it turns out these reports are false and were likely made by a competitor. Posigrip I found out has an A+ BBB rating and not so much as a complaint in 26 years.

I bought a dealership about 1 year ago! First of all it's not a Franchise!!!! It's just a dealership you purchase, you don't even get a Territory!! The product works fine and is easy to apply. The problem is the company itself!
It's just a "whole in the wall" in Daytona FL, 2 rooms and a small warehouse. The training you get takes 30Minutes! I should have canceled my check and run the moment I saw it...well I didn't...my mistake!
Now to the facts: it's extremely difficult to sell the stuff!
There is ABSOLUTELY NO support from Posigrip!
The advertisement they promise never happens! They don't attend any trade shows as they promise you! I never got any lead from them, there are NO corporate accounts as they promise. In the whole 12 month the only times they did contact me was for money. They offer a free display for expo, which you'll get...the display is a piece of sh... it cost you more shipping than yopur own one would cost you.
They don't even send you an email about new products, what's going on in the market or whatever!
The post cards, introductions, or whatever they offer you....just forget about it - to much work, to much cost - not working at all!!
There are other companies in the market with the same product. If you think that business is for you, talk to them, but stay away from posigrip! It's a very big ripoff!

I am thinking of getting into this business. Nobody in my area is doing it. I have talked with 1 hotels in my area and they already agreed for me to improve the traction in their tubs. Appears to be a great business with a lot of potential. Do you know if this product is available at any hardware stores?

I cannot comment on posigrip. Today is the first time I have ever heard of the product. Of course being the consumer I am I googled it.
It does not sound like a very stable company for the franchisee's. Yet I do not find much wrong with the product itself. It might be something I am willing to try.
However the reason why I am responding is because being a business owner myself and having filed complaints in the past as a consumer. The BBB is nothing but an organization you pay dues to. It is a club of sorts. It in no way reflects on how a company does business.
If you want to find out if there are complaints about this company I suggest you go to the state in which they belong and check there. That is where complaints are heard. Not the BBB...because you buy that rating you get.
