Our ministry signed up for Walton EMC gas service and continued the service for several months until our board decided to change companies, we were never told about a $50 early termination fee but on the final invoice we see we were charged this fee. I think it's a ripoff. Companies do this but don't tell you upon signing up that if you disconnect or change service you will be charged an early cancellation fee. I know Cell phones companies do this but I would never expect gas companies would do this too. They didn't earn that $50 but steal it from customers without telling them.
