American Freight Textbook bait and switch Lima Ohio

I visited American Freight in Lima looking for a couch for my garage. I was not looking for anything exceptional, but something cheap that could be used for an occasional party.

When I walked in the door, there sat the $129 special, which they scream about on billboards all over the country. It was good enough for my purpose, so I asked to buy it, only to be informed that they cannot sell it to me. According to them, they keep one of those $129 sofas in stock and get one in a month, and can only sell one when they get another one in stock. The exact quote from the salesman was "That's so people can't sue us for not having what we advertise in stock." Wow, that is the textbook definition of bait and switch.

Everyone, please do not give these con artists your money. Put them out of business.
