American Furniture & Mattress Outlet ripoff, This mananger of this store is rude & unethical. Do not buy furniture from this store, will try to get around every warranty issue. NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY-ALL ABOUT THEIR MONEY. Whitehall Pennsylvania

About 5 months ago my fiancee and I had purchased furniture from American Furniture & Mattress Outlet in Whitehall, PA. Before buying the sectional we had asked specifics as to the warranty and customer service response of England if something would go wrong whether it be customer fault or warranty. They had advise us 3 times before we purchased the furniture that if anything would happen to the furniture whether it be customer fault or warranty covered they would fix it in our home.

We have 3 children, and I was pregnant with the 3rd when I purchased the furniture, it was made clear that we needed durable and long lasting furniture. The furniture is "falling apart", right before my eyes... it is like the "lemon" of furniture. Needless to say we had an "accident" and when we advised them of it, they advised us it would got us $400 for the chaise to be sent out and fixed or buy new for $350... nothing they had promised us was true.

The manager of the store was rude, raising his voice to me several times, and was only stuck on the fact that he did not want to surrender any money..he simply wanted to brush it off. He advised me the rest of the sectional he would not contact England due to fact we did "customer abuse", my analogy to that is when someone hits the front of your car and the back is already hit does that mean they don't have to fix it... I DON'T THINK SO. I left after speaking with angry & want the whole world to know not to do business with this very rude and unethical man who will sell you his furnishings and then not back up any... NOT EVEN ONE... of his promises.

I strongly believe that the customer service in this country is terrible, and I am saddened that this company has American in their name because they are terrible, lying salesman who are only about the money & NOT THE CUSTOMERS. I am currently in the process of writing an article in a very well known Newspaper in the area & would suggest anyone else who deals with these unethical and rude sales people to do the same.

This chain of dissastified customers is the product of terrible customer service within the businesses of the country. I oculd go on... but I just want other customers to be aware of this companies' false promises.
