Advertising loss leaders ...

American Mattress has ads in flyers that are placed in local mailboxes unsolicited every three days or so. They advertise box springs and mattresses (full sized) for $79 each.

On May 9th, my wife and I visited the Bolingbrook store near the intersection of Boughton and Washington/Weber. The store clerk informed us that the ad had been running for 4 months and that they had been out of those mattresses for a long time. He said they would not be getting anymore in. He then tried to sell us a higher priced mattress and box springs.

I have since received flyers with the same ad 4 more times and expect to receive it many more times. This false advertising should be stopped.
