Purchased furniture from Ashley Furniture HomeStore on 11/18/2006 for our new home the sales rep (Jessica Lennon) was very helpful and found what we need. We're told that our delivery would be delivered on 11/19/2006 between 12p.m. - 5p.m. called 10 minutes to 5 to find out that the driver was stuck in traffic and would not make it until 6:30p.m. if I didn't call I would not have known that. When they arrived with the purchase they delivered a coffee table that had defective marble and they set up a date to have the table fixed well today (11/22/2006) was that day and the problem was not solved. The rep that they sent out to fix the problem with the marble could not fix it and when I spoke to customer service to exchange the table for another one they told me that I would have to pay a restocking fee to have it changed now my issue it that floor sample that was displayed had no defects and I was not told that I could not exchange the product for the same item, as a matter of fact the sales rep told me that if there is a problem with the product that we could take it back to the store and exchange it there was not talk about having to pay restocking fees or anything like that. The sad part of it all is that we went with ashley homestore because it was cheaper than Rooms To GO but if we had known that it was going to be like this we would have made our purchase at ROOMS TO GO instead of ashley homestore there are right next to each other at Sawgrass Mills Mall in Sunrise Florida. ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS DON'T MAKE PURCHASES AT ASHLEY FURNITURE HOME STORE THERE PRODUCTS ARE NO GOOD! AND WHAT YOU SEE ON THE FLOOR ROOM FLOOR IS NOT WHAT YOU GET SO BE CAREFUL AND THIS ALSO GOES FOR CITY FURNITURE THERE THE SAME COMPANY.
