It is evident Ashley Furniture is very CONSUMER UNFRIENDLY! Ashley Furniture in Glendale, AZ was a horrible experience for me. I ordered mattresses that were delivered soiled and torn.

After much difficulty contacting their customer service, I was told their inspector would have to come out in about 30 days.

I screamed at them and the guy showed the next day. He agreed the mattresses should be replaced NOT REPAIRED as they suggested on the phone.

I had him repair a damaged dresser mirror frame for a dresser also and asked him about care of the dresser top. He informed me the dresser was made of a PAPER material and not even wood. (If you chip it, you're screwed.) I also noticed that the sofa cushions on my Ashley sofa were constructed of beige denim on the bottom and not the chenille product that was on the top of the cushions. YUK!Therefore, they cannot be reversed!

Back to my mattress situation, after many months, a second mattress set was finally delivered and I witnessed the driver dragging it through my landscape rocks.

Guess what....this set was also torn and dirty.

I waited many, many months for a third replacement and again called up the store screaming. No manager was ever available.

Finally one day a manager named David Tinch took my call and said this was not typical of their policies and I would have a mattress set that following weekend. Guess what..months went by and no mattress set. I then called the Scottsdale store and spoke to manager Rick Carlson. He assured me I would get a call the next day with a delivery date. No call came for weeks. Eventually they did call and I finally received the third set and watched them unload so they wouldn't damage it. It was ok.

ASHLEY FURNITURE IS A CONSUMER'S WORST NIGHMARE! Although I didn't have to contact the Better Business Bureau and State Atty Gen....they do harrass bad retailers and force them to settle with consumers. USE THEM!
