Bedroom Depot Terrible Experience: Buying furnitures!!! Halifax Nova Scotia

I just had the most terrible experience with a furniture company. I bought my Sectional and Queen size box spring and mattress from this furniture store in Bayer's Lake where they had their tent sale and I got a really good price. So I was happy and all....Anyways I told them to deliver my furniture on the 30th of August cause I was moving in on the 29th.

The day came and I realized we need to change the delivery date to the 31st of August. I needed my delivery on that date because my best friend came over to see me from Toronto.

I called them on the 30th told them that we need to change the delivery date and they asked us to call back on the 31st. So I did call them first thing in the morning. They asked me to call back at 11 am because they do their schedules at that time. I was happy that I'll get my stuff and I went to pick up my friend from the Airport.

Came back home at 11 am. Called them again. Now they gave me the bad news, They are not going to deliver my furniture because I should have called on the 30th and should have re scheduled my delivery for the 31st. I told them that I called...There is no record of you calling in...they said.

I was terrified because I didn't really see that coming. Advised them to transfer me to the supervisor. After a while the supervisor picked up the phone. He was so rude and he said he can't do the delivery today cause I'm not in their schedule.

Told them that I really needed it and expected them to understand the situation, but obviously he was very rude and rudely cut me off, said he would have it deliver it tomorrow. At that point I was mad and told them that I would like to cancel my order...He said it's not an option at all..

WOW...I said, told him what he could do for me...he said he can see if someone can deliver it after hours. Well, I said. Sure. The weather was bad and them they couldn't deliver it the same night and my friend and us had to sleep on the floor that night.

Called them back next day at 10. They said they will be there anytime between 11 to 2 pm. I was supposed to be gone for the weekend...but them I said it's fine. I waited and waited and waited until 3 pm. Still no show.

Called them back they said the delivery person is on their way, something came up and they couldn't deliver my furniture. Still no apology. No sorry nothing. Anyways I waited more. They delivery person shows up with me sectional not the bed. Our van is full, they said. I told them to bring my bed in half hour.

When I was sorting out my sectional, I figured they got me the wrong pieces. They got two same pieces from two different sets, So my sectional didn't look like a sectional, it had an arm rest in the middle and the other side didn't have any arm rest at all...told them to take it back and bring the right piece, The cushions were dirty and disgusting. Told them to change it for me. I was supposed to receive 12 legs with 12 bolts, I received 8 legs and 4 bolts.

Called them back, they said they can't help me and we need to speak to the sales person, that we dealt with.

Anyways I said I'll deal with it later when I come back after the long weekend. Didn't open my mattress and the box spring.

I came back from my long weekend holiday yesterday. Terribly tired. Opened the plastic on the mattress. It's a nice mattress and all, I was happy...Next thing I open is the box spring, Oh my GOD! I'm not exaggerating at all...there are hundreds and hundreds of little hairs on my box spring, I thought it's a print or something. Called my husband and my friend. They freaked out seeing it. I don't know why I wanted to save some dollar and bought it from this store. It's so gross and disgusting as well as very unhygienic.

I know it's long but I really needed to vent. I am going to call them today and see what they say about the situation. I'll keep posting.
