Bedroom Superstore ripoff told me to pay half for layaway & then filed chapter 7 Stole my money & my furniture scammers liars Sacramento California

We purchased a bedroom set on 9/2/02 we were going to pay the full amount and have the furniture delivered the next day. The sales associate convinced us to do a layaway, because we really did not need the furniture for another month. He told us we had pay $880 to put it on layaway, and when we called to have them deliver our bedroom furniture a month later, no one ever answered their phones. I tried to call the corporate office, and every other store location, and no one ever answered. I called Bankruptcy Court, and found out they filed chapter 7.

They gave me their bankruptcy lawyer Edward R. Cardoza of Indianapolis (317)634-9052, and he told me that I will not get my furniture, or my money.

This is very upsetting, because we sold our other bedroom furniture, and now we have nothing. They have our money and we cannot afford to purchase any other furniture.
