We had been looking for a living room set to fit our large family. We liked a big, corner set that the salesman told us was "practically indestructible". He stuck a ball-point pen into the cushion to show it's strength. The seller was the "fabulous, stain-proof, tear-proof, forever puffy fabric".

Well, we fell for it. Over $3200.00 later, including the "goof-proof" coverage that would protect everything we bought, from the recliner, the sofa, and the console for our T.V..

Within 6 months, we were filing for our "goof proof" coverage to come into play. The back of the recliner broke, the footrest came off, the bottom of one of the sofa pieces came off, the fabric peeled off the arm rests, and the main seat on the end had your bum practically on the floor.

The Guardsman Protection rep. showed up, and informed us that the only thing he would do for us was to spray some cleaner on a spot on the fabric.

We were told we had to take up a complaint with the manufacturer, because they don't take care of broken pieces, even though the "Elite" protection stated that all of our problems were covered.

I have written the manufacturer, but have not gotten any response as of yet. My husband is insisting that he's going to rent a U-haul, put all of the furniture in it, drive to Bob's, and park it in the lot, with a huge sign that says, "Please don't let this happen to you!", while displaying the junk we own alongside the truck.
One bit of advice- Don't throw your money away on poor quality, poor customer service and an all-around poor experience!!!!
