fryefurniture.com is a web based company at bedtablesofa.com.

They advertise furniture at very low prices with "financing".

I placed an order, filled out an extensive credit application and returned it. Steve Frye called me and told me I was approved by the finance company with a $239.00 deposit. I used a Mastercard for the down payment and was them e-faxed the so called "finance" agreement.It was not financing but rather a "rent to own" agreement which doubled the price.

I contacted Steve Frye and told him that after reviewing the contract I decided to decline as the financing was misrepresented and not acceptable.

He then told me he would credit my card back for the $239.00 and that it would take approximately 20 days for it to appear. About 30 days later after not receiving the credit, I again contacted him about it. He told me he would resubmit it and it would take 7 to 10 days for it to appear. Nearly 30 day later I contacted him again and advised him I did not receive the credit. He will not supply me with a transaction number for my bank to track the credit or respond to phone calls or e-mails.

I suspect he makes his living doing this and also suspect I am not his first or only victim.
