I went to Haynes to buy a table set that was on sale. I paid 200.00 for the set. It was pretty, then in a matter of weeks the set started falling apart. I brought a long table with six chairs.
Well to tell the truth, I only have the table. There are no chairs. I will never buy anything eles from them. And then they have the nerve to turn me down for credit, on bad furniture. I hope that they go out out of business

I have only purchased a rug at Haynes, which is still in great condition, and I have to say that I laughed when I read the complaint I am responding to. The writer, Joyce, states that she is upset that the table and six chairs that she paid $200 for fell apart fairly quickly. I am sorry Joyce, but what did you expect for $200? Any well educated consumer would know that any good quality table and chairs set would easily put you back over a grand. Instead of settling for junk you should have been wise and saved your money a while longer and bought something that you know would last a lifetime. Now, when we purchased the rug for our office we took the time to walk around the large store in VA Beach. It was clear that their quality of furniture ranged from the fairly cheap to very expensive, as do most furniture stores these days. It is all about shopping around and not settling for second best, or in your case, seventh best.
In conclusion, Joyce, consider this a lesson learned and take better care of yourself and your money in the future.

Christine,
Your comments, obviously not thought out and extremely condescending, were idiotic at best. It would not surprise me one bit if you work for Haynes.Whether an item costs $200 or $1000
(chances are, you probably got taken for a ride if you bought at Haynes) The level of customer service and dignity should not change. The $200 dollar set was paid for, not given as charity. I suggest the consumer review their warranty, if any, or go to small claims court.
