    Corporate Advocacy Program
To quote Hayne's company Vision statment, "We seek to enhance th elives of our customers by brining comfort, quality and style to their homes at the lowest price. Our customers are our guests and we will treat them with the utmost courtesy, warmth and graciousness. Above all, we will always treat our customers the way we would like to be treated ourselves." I guess they either don't go over their vision statement with their employees or do not practice it or worse they like being lied to and treated poorly themselves.

We purchase bedroom furniture for my son in July 2005 and were told that since the bed was a special order it wouldn't be in until Sept. 15, 2005. Ok, so we had my son use my old furniture until his new furniture came in. On Sept. 26 we were told the furniture came in and we paid the balance and sold my old bedroom furniture to make room for the new furniture. On Sept. 28 we were told they received the wrong item. We were assured they would take care of the situtation to get us our new furniture. Meanwhile my son's clothes are now stacked either on the floor or in plastic drawers and he has a matress on the floor. We called every week to get an update, with contiously be told different stories or the person we needed to talk to was with a customer we could leave a message. No one every returns your calls. I even tried calling the corporate office twice in Virginia beach letting them know they needed to step in and get their managers in Newport News to take some responsbility with dealing with the customer. I was told by the orginal sales person on Oct. 14 that our furniture was in NC waiting shipment on the truck. With several more calls this week trying to reach a manager and no one calling me back. I finally got a hold of a manager yesterday, Oct. 20 to be told our furniture was due to be shipped by air and would be in customs by Oct. 30. Ok, now I have been lied to; one week my furniture is in a different state and now it's not even in the same country. I explained to him I was not happy about given the correct information on how long it would take to fix the wrong furniture, that we should have been told that information up front and given the option of a refund or to pick something else out. That now I want to be given a refund of my money, I can't deal with a company that doesn't even have the balls to deal with their customers honestly. Now I am being told I have to wait for the General Manager to make the decision if I get a refund. Now it's a waiting game again to see if I get blown off again.

I would never use this company again, you never know what they say is the truth. It might do them some good if they read their own vision statement and provided some customer service training to all their employees.
