My receipt didn't have the color written in but I had been given a sample swatch and then delivered the wrong color. When I complained, they showed me a rewritten order and refused replacement (said the sofa I'd ordered didn't come in the color of the swatch) They claimed I had approved the color written on the receipt.

After month's of haggling around, I finally filed a claim for approx.$1400 in my local Small Claims Court, It was easily done and cost only $20. When they got the notice they called me up and gave me a choice of replacement or reimbursement.

I just got a call that my new sofa is ready to be delivered. Wish me luck! By the way, I took the reimbursement then re-orderd the sofa - actually a more expensive one! I couldn't find anything that I liked better anywhere else. Never did find something in the exact color of that swatch.
