Myself and wife visited "Mor Furniture" store located on 1270 W. Elliot Road in Tempe, AZ 85284 on September 23,2005 and purchased 3 pieces of furniture. We paid the purchase & delivery price in FULL using my American Express credit card and signed the contract. We were promised a delivery date between 6-8 weeks. After 8 weeks we called the warehouse in Phoenix, AZ (Phone # (623)478-8017) to confirm delivery date and we were told the units will be late and will be another 2 weeks for delivery and units will be delivered on December 1, 2005.

During the next 2 weeks we called at least once a week to confirm delivery date and every time we were told the units will delivered on that date.

On November 29, 2005 we received a call from the warehouse to confirm delivery for December 1, 2005 between 11:00 am -4:00 pm.

On December 1, 2005 (delivery date) we received a call from the warehouse and been told that the company doesn't sell this product anymore and we should go to the store to get our money back! So after 70 days of waiting with $1920 paid in full from day 1 they basically cancel the contract.

During these 70 days we have already made arrangements and got rid of the old furniture, also we bought a coffee and end table set in the amount of $750 that matches the sofas. Now we are sitting on the floor and the Christmas season is upon us.

When we visited the store on December 1, 2005 around 7:00 pm, the lady that identified her self as a manager at that time didn't even apologize for the mistake and was very rude saying things like” That's not our problem, our manufacturers messed this up” and after constant request from myself to talk to the general manager she offered to call him, then she refused to give us her contact information and supplied us with the general manager store info only.

After she processed the refund she refused to supply me with a copy of the purchase ordered and insisted that she needs to keep it. Only after I insisted to have a copy she finally gave me one.
