Last year we bought a black leather couch from Mor Furnture Bakersfield. After about 3 months the front section on the couch developed a small hole, My wife called them, they came out about three weeks later and the Rep. said he could not fix it and said he will call it an accident and he will submit it to managemant. They never called us back. We called and talked to the management and they said they would not exchange the couch or repair it. Now 1 year later after still making payments on it, the whole section is ripping out, it is only one section of leather on the front of the couch that is ripping. The rest of the couch is still in good shape. Now it has 4 spots that are going bad in the same small section. It was obviuosly a bad piece of leather that was sewn into this couch. I was so upset with this store that I was going to load the couch up and bring it to the store and drop it off in front of the main entrance where everyone can see what is going to happen to them if they buy from these rip offs.
I would stop all payments to them. But they know that they have me in a corner because my 730 credit score would be tarnished if I stopped paying for this junk. Now I am looking for a way to fix it myself. Do not buy their junk, just spend a little extra and buy furniture from a company that will warranty it honestly. Any suggestions on how to get back at this horrible furniture store would be greatly appreciated.
