Rhodes Furniture ripoff double billed account, advised me to pay both Rhodes and HRH Mobile Alabama

Rhodes turned me over to collection for some late payments (I have worked for five companys that have gone under within the past 10 years)I was (and have always paid, even if a little late)paying the collection group statement, Rhodes advised me I was supposed to be paying them, so then I mailed payments to them, then the collection group hounded me telling me I am supposed to pay them. I accumulated finance and service charges beyond comprehension. My original bill from Rhodes was under $1,700.00,

I have been paying for over seven years, my balance is now over $3,000.00 (I am paying thru consumer service, yet they continue to call me at home). If I had the resources I would do most anything to cause this company grief - it is unfair to me and I suspect I am not alone.
