No Warranty provided at time of purchase but stated as a full refund or exchange for any reason. After 2 years mattress colapsed full 2" on one 1-1/2' by 3' on side & several holes came through from inside out. After review by inspector from Kanes furniture who agreed the mattress was not useable they indiate there is a minor stain 1/2" diameter on the opposite side of the mattress and that invalidates the warranty. Paid $1100 dollars for this worthless peace O S. and two years later it is a throw away.
Along the way one of there managers said they replace very few mattresses. What a suprise.

TRUE FOR ALL MATTRESS BRANDS

AUTHOR: Hugo - GREENSBORO (U.S.A.)

I have seen dozens of reports like this on here and I thought I should give you an insider's perspective. I have spent many years in the home furnishings business and have personally sold over $1,000,000.00 worth of bedding (mattresses & foundations). That said, although the report about the warranty is true and I don't agree with the loophole myself, ALL MATTRESS MAKERS AND BRANDS have this disclaimer in their warranty.

It really isn't that the Brand's fault. Typically state and federal health departments require this and a stained mattress is considered a biohazard. OSHA and health departments don't want technicians and delivery drivers to have to handle soiled mattresses. The stains can be a small as a dime.

I know, I know...your stain is cranberry juice! But how is the company supposed to be able to verify this. If you notice, when purchasing a new bedding set, the sales person offers to sell you a "mattress protector"? This is specifically because of the stain clause in the warranty. You think it's just to sell you something else. I always showed the written warranty to the customer and pointed out the stain clause. Ninety-five percent of my customers bought mattress protectors from me with the bedding set. The five percent that didn't knew what they were lettiing themselves in for.

Yes the loophole seems unfair, but all the mattress companies have to abide by this by law.

The solution is...always demand to read the warranty card prior to purchase and always buy a mattress protector either from the mattress store or somewhere else. Keep in mind that the protector sold by the mattress store will generally have a 10 years warranty that will back up the mattress warranty if it ends up stained.
