Lying Rude ripoffs Bedroom Superstore Employees San Marcos California

I went with my 24 yr old dtr to look at furniture because of advertised promotion-no pmts til 010103. Although she had a 2001 truck in her name, they said her credit was denied & said financing furniture is harder than a car.

We started to leave & Jerry suggested that I co-sign & I said no. He said if I did, we could make 3 pmts which would better establish her credit & then call to have my name removed. I questioned him about this several times & he assured me in 3 months I could remove my name.

We agreed & left with an invoice & promotional credit plan form in her name & signed by her, & no other forms. After receiving 3 bills & making 3 payments I called 877-560-0761 to remove my name & was told they don't make any changes & that they had a contract in my name.

I asked them to mail me a copy & they agreed & said I should call the store if I had a problem with the billing. I called & reminded Jerry of our conversation & when I said 3 months, he said he didn't say 3 months, he said 6. I said both my daughter & I knew he said 3.

He said he would call back. Later Ken called & said he was the manager calling per my request, (I had not requested a manager) & he asked what my problem was. I told him what Jerry had told me & my daughter & he said Jerry didn't say it. I said he said it several times to both my daughter & me & he said he had known Jerry 3 years & he would believe Jerry before he would believe us.

I asked why I had no copy of the contract & he said I don't get a copy of it. I asked to come over & look at it & he said they no longer had it. I asked for his manager & he said I couldn't talk to anyone else as Jerry never said what I claimed & it didn't matter anyway as they had my signed contract which would be upheld in court & he proceeded to explain what goes on in court.

I said I was familiar with the court system as I was married to a police officer & he said he was a police officer too & had been for 6 yrs. As there was no talking to him or his manager I said I would contact the BBB & he said go ahead.
