On Jan 1st i went to value city to buy a living room set. they told me they did not have it in stock it would ave to be ordered. they wanted full payment for the set. they told me that it was already on order and that 13 of tem would be coming in. so i did what THEY call a price hold because it was on sale. i gave them 10% down for this Hold. they told me it would be in stock on jan 5th wel needless to say it's now the end of FEB. and now after many calls and many other dates i was given they say march 8th. thank god i didn't give them all the money. they would have my money i would have nothing.how many other people have had this happen.and do they pay intrust on my money they hold for god know how long till they get what is ordered. i even offered to take the display and was told they can't sell me that one. but they do still keep taking orders for it i was in many time and watched as people where about to order the same set.

It's Price Hold, NOT Layaway

On your receipt, it says that Price Hold only holds the price, not merchandise. If you had paid the full amount of the furniture, then the merchandise would have been reserved in your name for the original ETA of the furniture. With only 13 of them coming in, it would have been in your best interest to pay off the furniture, since multiple stores pull from the same distribution center.... 13 is not a lot. Next time you want to post negative things about the company, please do your research, Value City Furniture is just about the best place to get quality furniture at low prices, and they do not deserve this type of negativity because of your mistakes.
