This Shell station consistently has prices considerably higher than other gas stations in the area. On 2/14/2009 their regular unleaded is $1.99, and premium unleaded is $2.44.

There is a Shell station within 1 mile that is currently at $$1.89, and $2.19. While it is easy enough to drive to this lower price station it seems the other should be more in line with market price.

The price IS in line

The price is based on several factors...and rent is one of them. If the rent is higher, the price for everything, gasoline included, will also be higher.

Geee..if this is the biggest thing you have to complain about then you are very lucky. Gas station prices vary, it could be due to any number of factors.

By the way I just paid $2.27 a gallon for gas which is near the low end of the prices in this area, and would consider $1.99 a welcome site.
