Aboubakar Allal Tenamajelt Artisan Cooperative Misrepresented Orgin of Merchandise indianapolis, Lafayette, Indiana

Aboubakar sells handmade jewelry and crafts in farmers/artisan markets in central Indiana.  He uses different alias including Allal, Aboubaker, and Ababakar.   He says he makes the jewlery himself but in reality he buys it from other artisans.

He claimed the drums he sells are from his home country of Niger.  I later found out they were from Ghana.  He also says his jewelry is silver but it's not.  There's nickle in it. 

Lastly the brass and leather animals he sells were from India.

He also uses Sahara, Tuareg Crafts, Zahara as company names as well as Tenamajelt Artisan Cooperative. There is no cooperative - all of the profits go straight into his pockets!   Buyer beware!
