Fred had been a reliable glass installer. He installed one set of beautiful Fleetwood sliding doors for me very professionally.

However, I had given him a deposit of over $5900 awhile back for another set. He even stopped by my construction site not long ago and asked my time table and said he had the doors, and would order a new stop track. When I was approaching installation time, I called and left him a message. No response.

I called and left another, this time on cell and office voicemail.
Still no response. I was beginning to get worried about his health, but my electrician said he is working on a job not far from
me.

I offered to go get the doors and hire someone else to install.
No response. I left many messages, escalating in urgency.
No response. Finally I had to order them again from another installer, who I hope I can trust. This was several months ago and still no response from Fred. My new glass guy thinks Fred probably Funny thing is, my doors are featured on his website. Ha!

AUTHOR: Fred''s Glass - Los Angeles (United States of America)

As stated by Juhree Fletcher in the original report, I Alfredo M. have always been a reliable honest glass installer. I have worked hard to protect the name of my company Fred's Glass with over 35 years of experience in the glazing industry. Ms. Fletcher's job in Beverly Hills, CA began in 2007. My company Fred's Glass was hired to initially install 1 set of Fleetwood's sliding pocket door system consisting of 3 panels. The unit was successfully installed and Ms. Fletcher was pleased with the work that we had done. She then decided to hire us for 2 more openings for the new addition in her home. The second opening of the new addition consisted of a 3 panel pocket door system. However, once the proposal had already been signed for the second opening and the unit had already been fabricated Juhree decided to change the size of the opening where the unit was to be install. The new changes to the initial opening decreased the width so that only a 2 panel door system could be installed. Ms. Fletcher and I came to an agreement that for the second opening, I was to remove 1 panel from the original sliding door system, order another sliding pocket door system for the third opening, and have the remaining panel integrated to the new sliding pocket door system with additional charges for materials and labor to be billed directly to her.
Once the units had been received, Ms. Fletcher, who is a real state agent notified me that she was having financial problems and wanted all work to be put on hold because she could no longer finance her own job and was even forced to rent part of her home. Ms. Fletcher did give us a deposit, however that does not exempt her from paying the remaining balance for the doors, balance that came out of our pocket when it came time to pay our supplier (Fleetwood Windows & Doors). It has now been 4 years that we have waited for Ms. Fletcher to contact us. We still have Ms. Fletcher's doors here in our location, If we were really the dishonest company that Ms. Fletcher claims that we are we would have already sold the doors. On the contrary, we have stored the doors for Ms. Fletcher for over 4 years. I believe that after waiting 4 years for a phone call from Ms. Fletcher it is not very professional from her part to report us on Ripoff instead of walking into our location, willing to pay the remaining balance and requesting an installation appointment. It is clear to me that Ms. Fletcher is simply trying to blame us for the fact that she had to put her job on hold due to her financial crisis. I feel that it is not appropriate that Ms. Fletcher is trying to damage my business reputation when i have worked so hard to make an honest living. Any questions or concerns regarding this matter, please contact me.
