I recently bought windows from SoundProof windows based out of Reno, NV based on trust. Whatever information they have on their website claiming that their windows are sound proof is all false.
I made them aware of the situation that my bedroom faces a major road and I had a lot of noise issues and they convinced me that the windows would work.
They dont have any office in AZ where I live and paid $ 525 for installation apart from $ 3750 which was the cost of the windows. They had recommended a installation company in AZ.
People who are looking to buy Soundproof windows from them, please be aware that they dont work and I have very bad experience dealing with them.
They dont have any guarantee about the windows.
If someone is so sure that their windows were efficient will give performance guarantee on them. They are just a rip off.
PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. I DONT WANT ANYONE ELSE TO SUFFER THE SAME WAY I DID AND BLOW UP A LOT OF MONEY ON SOMETHING THAT DOESNT WORK AT ALL.

Our windows are self install windows, however, if a customer wishes they are free to hire a local installer and if need be we will locate an installer for them. In this case our company located an installer for the customer through a national service referral company.
In April 2009 we were made aware of the customer's issue with his windows. After communicating with the customer we learned that most of the windows had been improperly installed.
After the windows were properly installed the windows gave the customer, Dave, a 49% decibel level drop when having his pre-existing window and our Soundproof Window closed. This means that someone could be standing outside the window screaming and you would not be able to hear them inside.
