I feel very sorry for the people that got ripped off by KIS golf and lost their money. The money ranged from a few thousand to many thousand dollars. This is what they did to our family. We are talking a few million, not just a few thousand dollars and because our golf course was used by KIS Golf and they put their name on everything, people associate SVGC with KIS Golf, even though we had absolutely nothing to do with anything KIS Golf did. Our future doesn't look very bright

Our golf course, Sycamore Valley Golf Course, was up for sale. To make a long story short KIS Golf came to us and offered to take over the payments of all our golf course bills and do the same for our home that was also for sale and on top of that give our son a job. There was a contract drawn up for a lease purchase type of deal and they were to buy our course and our home at the end of 5 years. This was agreed to and at this point we had NOTHING to do with KIS Golf.

My husband stayed on top of them constantly to make sure that the bills were paid, because they had requested that everything stay in our name. We should have been leary then, but we were so happy to be relieved of the financial burden that we agreed. They were constantly late paying bills. It was a breech of the contract, but they would always finally pay and we were relieved of the financial burden.

Our son no longer has a job and his last 4 paychecks bounced. So many of the other bills that related to the golf course such as water, elec. ect. were over 4 months late and we were receiving cut off notices.Those were their bills, not ours, but we had to pay them or shut down completely.

They stiffed so many people that trusted them. That is my biggest complaint. We had an employee that had been with us for years and they talked him into staying and gave him a raise. He came home from his honeymoon to no job and over $5,000 owed to him that he will never get.

I guess you get the picture. We are going to honor the $14.00 round of golf that was promised by KIS. I just ask that you golfers out there that got had, please don't blame the owners and employees of SVGC.
