If you are a California business, specifically a Corporation or LLC, DO NOT SEND MONEY to "Business Filings Division" or "Annual Filing Division" as they are FRAUDULENT companies owned by the same owners, and use false and deceptive advertising (in the form of a letter via U.S. Postal Service) to convince unsuspecting businesses that they are at risk of penalties and fees if they do not file a "Report of Income" report. They use a seal that resembles a State of California seal and it is very easy to believe that you are at risk of fines if you don't send in a check for $195 immediately. THIS COMPANY HAS NO AFFILIATION with ANY State or Government Agency...AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS! We have now received two mailers from the two names that this organization goes by "Annual Filing Division" and "Business Filings Division". This company needs to be reported to the DA's office as well as the U.S. Postmaster. THEY NEED TO SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY! DO YOUR PART AND ALSO FILE A REPORT HERE. Our company is also investigating where we can report this, including BBB, FTC, U.S. Postmaster (for mail fraud), and the District Attorney's office.
