Business Acumen Business Acumen, Inc Promises not kept Las Vegas, Nevada

I applied for grant writing , unfortunately, to Business Acumen in September, 2010. I had to pay $3,750 to begin Letters of Intent to corporations who were giving the grant money to individuals who wanted to start a business, or already an existing business, but needed more funding. This was only to start. After being funded, the other $3,750 was to be paid back to Business Acumen for completion of services from the grant money I was to receive.

I have waited a year, patiently. Calling weekly, emailing, always being told that their were several applicants because of the recession, and if I was patient, I would eventually get the funding I requested.

Well, I called this morning, and low and behold, the number has been disconncted. Now, I know what you are going to say...but I did check them out previous to my partnering up with this company.

Now here I am, out of the money, no way to contact them, and no way to get my money back. I reported them to the Las Vegas Better Business Bureau, but if anyone else can help, please let me know.
