I have been shopping @ Wholefood Mkts since the mid 80/s (when the only store was on Shepherd @ Alabama. I was drawn to the offbeat hippie aura (the store reminded me the 60's when I was in high school. The cus service was excellant.

When Wholefoods opened a store on Wilcrest @ Westheimer in the early 90's, I started shopping there. I stopped in 1998-99(?) because of poor cus svc.

I have been shopping @ the Woodway store since. And now it is happening again. I know this sounds odd, but it seems to happen after the juice bars are removed from the stores. I believe it has been 1.5-2yrs since it happened @ the Woodway store. I spend $500. plus a year on essential oils/herbs only.

I came in on 10-17-04 and spent $120. plus. I do price comparisons on the essential oils; I needed a price check (whole foods has always had their prices listed below the bottles) & I also wanted to check why they weren't carrying birch or sweet bay oil. I was told to take the oil up to the registers for a price check and if the oils I wanted weren't on the shelf they couldn't order it. Wholefoods has always ordered oils for me that may not be stocked regularly. I wanted to also check the sizes (could I order in 2oz bottles; I use birch or sweet bay for my joint pain). That day I came on my electric scooter by Metro Lift.

I came in again either 10-31 or 11-07 to purchase White Flower (essential .67 oz bottle); it's good to use on my joints also. The electric cart was not working. They were out of the White Flower oil. The woman I spoke with said she would order more; it would take 7-10 days. I went in on 11-24 with my walker; their electric cart wasn't working (again) and the White Flower still was not in. I had made a useless trip & of course due to the holiday, Metro Lift was late.

That is another complaint I have. This store has 1 electric cart & it is a 50/50 toss-up if it is working when I go.
