FLORIDA GUN WORKS/FLORIDA ARMORT the sales manager "matt" got mad at me when i inquired as to why i cancelled my order,and i told him because of too many ripoff reports,and he called me an idiot! and said ripoff report is a fraud the operation has NO PHONE NUMBER LISTED.they insist on doing business only by postal mail or e/mail.the sales guy told me i could "send cash" OH BOY! the whole operation is suspicious and secretive miami, Florida

just a quick follow up! no matter what "rebuttal's" you might see posted on here about FLORIDA GUN WORK'S..ask them what is their daytime business phone number?..and ask the west palm beach BBB..better business bureau about them..you will find they are rated "F" not a member and also have a large amount of complaint's against them! for recv payment and not delivering.and ask yourself why? there are no photographs of the shop or the staff on the website.this "matt" sent me an e/mail today..he is upset that i am reporting him because we did not do business and he is so full of wonder why i would take the time to report him,because i did not lose anything..well RETARD!..you see i have spent my whole life as a gun-collector,shooter,dealer,and full time professional gunsmith.i have always conducted everything honestly,above board and full of integrity and deceny.no i was not ripped-off by you,but you tried ! and that makes me very angry and i hope to see garbage like you put out of business!! its easy to talk about your reputation..you have none! except on the -minus side.i hope to help save others grief and wasting their time with such an obvious con.

I have in the past heard of problems with Florida Gun Works.  Among those complaints is always the lack of phone number to reach them on, and orders not being delivered.  That said, I do have some issue with this specific ripoff report.

You mention that you are a 20 plus year professional gunsmith..yet, you are trying to make a purchase from an overpriced gun dealer...As a professional gunsmith, you would have your own Federal Firearms License, a type 01 FFL..which would then allow you to purchase at wholesale from manufacturers and distributers.  Why would you be making a purchase at way way overpriced retail when you are an FFL yourself.  That's like the owner of a Chevy truck dealership, driving to a competitors dealership to purchase a truck at retail.  It just makes no sense, unless you are an unlicensed gunsmith, which then would mean you are a felon and that doesnt really cast much credence on your report.  Also, you seem to make an issue about them not having a phone number. Specifically you write " that im going to report him to the ATF because clearly he is using and violating federal laws,selling guns and not providing a phone number".  Well....As a Federal Firearms Dealer myself, I know there is no law or requirement to keep or have any phone number available to consumers...So I don't know what you are harping about there.  If you want your complaint to be credible..don't write about things that are of zero value, consequence or are plain wrong.

That said, I would never buy from them as they have a history of not sending out product and still keeping peoples money.

im not about to explain to you why or what i was considering purchasing from them.that is my business.you are concerned with trivial details,rather than the main point which is i believe is that they are crooked and illegal gun dealers,which is of course great concern to any reasonable person.but you seem so upset over something that is none of your business! ripoff reports are meant to inform and then decide if they have merit,you can agree or disagree with what i said but do not insult me by implying that i 'might be a felon' you seem to know next to nothing about the firearms business and for sure nothing at all about ethics or honesty.you seem to be trying to show off,im sure you are quite impressed by your nonsense comment,but i highly doubt anyone else is.so there miguel let me give you a few choice words,you crawl back on your raft and paddle back to wherever it was you came from!
