I bought a Blackbuck Antelope hunt from Joe Burkett on Dec. 28, 2006 on ebay.
His lists his outfitter name as Beshuntco.com. After receiving my money he would not schedule the hunt nor would he send my money back.
I have left several messages on his cell phone, emailed him several times and complained to ebay about his fraud. He would not return my calls or my emails. On one occasion I got an unpleasant email from his wife and that is all I've ever heard.
He is located in Fredericksburg, TX where he owns a small ranch and leases out hunting land from surrounding ranchers.
Beware of doing business with this man.

I am the attorney for Joe Burkett and his company. Dr. Burkett has been made aware of this report and would like to respond accordingly. As Gary knows, Dr. Burkett was out of town when Gary was calling him and leaving ugly messages. In addition, the ranch owner was out of touch, which is the reason that Dr. Burkett was unable to schedule the hunt. Gary received a full refund by check dated March 9, 2007, which was deposited to Gary's account on March 13, 2007.
We advise Gary that any further comments of this nature will be considered defamatory and will result in legal action against him. Also, we demand that a full retraction to be posted on this site within fifteen (15) days of this rebuttal, or legal action will ensue.

Mr. Carlson is correct. I did receive a refund of my money and the matter has been resolved. I apologize for not updating this report and regret that this matter came to this conclusion - I will engage in no further contact in regards to this outfitter.
