crimsontrace-laser.com Names: Dodie Odell and Jeff. www.CrimsonTrace-laser.com / JD Arms,LLC. Scam, They take your money (twice), Got no product, When confronted was met with extreme rudeness and lies. Tigard, Oregon

    I ordered a laser sight for my gun online from www.crimsontrace-laser.com, upon completing the transaction and unknown to me the company took out twice the money needed for the product.

    I called to ask why this happened and the sales person Dodie Odell said that this wasn’t possible and it had nothing to do with them. I then called my bank where they said that the company had taken the regular amount of $275 out for the product and they took an additional $275 out for what they called a "pre-authorization". 

    With the web site taking out the additional money, they caused an overdraft in my account which I was charged for. I then called the company back and spoke with the owner/manager Jeff; he said that yes sometimes they do that to assure that there is enough money in the account for the transaction.
 
    This was a direct contradiction to what Dodie Odell had said. I was very upset at this because there was no disclaimer or notification that this would happen and I also had never heard of such a thing. He apologized and assured me the money would be put back in my account right away.
 
    Two days later I was tracking my package and found that the company called FedEx and had them stop delivery just miles from my home. I was very angry to find this out and figured I had been ripped off. I called the company to find out what was going on, only to be greeted on the phone by Dodie with foul language and calling me "Dude".
 
    Dodie said that she didn’t know what kind of scam I was pulling but she was going to contact the authorities and that I had problems, needless to say I was mad that they had taken my money, caused an overdraft in my account, failed to get me the product, blamed it all on me and were rude and degrading to me, and now I’m still waiting for my $275. 

   I then went to try to get back on to the website to complain, but they have blocked me from accessing it somehow. Please help with getting the word out to other consumers not to use this web site they will rip you off and are extremely rude and unhelpful.  Thank you
