FANTASTIC SAM'S - DARCY PARADISE SCAM RIPOFF BAIT AND SWITCH FRAUD TAKING ATVANTAGE OF A MINOR THEFT BY SWINDLE HUDSON Wisconsin

In short here's what happened. My wife called the shop and asked how much it would be to have my daughters hair stripped and dyed. She was quoted $85. She brought my daughter in the next day and the manager was upset that she had been quoted $85 but agreed to do the job anyway. THERE WAS NO MISTAKE OR MISUNDERSTANDING ABOUT WHAT WAS TO BE DONE. After my wife left the manager had my daughter sign a release that they would be doing a foil or highlight job?. MY DAUGHTER IS 15 YEARS OLD AND DID NOT UNDERSTAND THAT THEY WOULD NOT BE DOING THE JOB WE WANTED.

The managers explanation is that here hair could not take a stripping and dying. the manager said she explained that to my wife and daughter - THAT IS A FLAT OUT LIE! What they did is wait for my wife to leave so they could take advantage of a kid and turn a quick buck without actually doing the work.

The owner did offer to have us come back and possibly do something else with her hair. My wife has already brought my daughter to another salon where her hair was stress tested and the results showed that her hair was in excellent condition and stripping and dying is not a problem. They have an appointment for this Thursday to get the job done (the job we already paid for at Fantastic Sam's). Why would we want to go back to a shop that has lied to us and cheated a 15 year old out of her money??? I asked the owner if we could just get our money back and I was told no. I was also told that my wife and daughter were happy with the work done at her shop. If we were so happy with the work done why would we be spending another $85 to get it undone?? THIS SHOP SHOULD BE RENAMED "FANTASTIC SCAM'S!!"
OH, AND BY THE WAY - THE COST OF THE HIGHLIGHTING WOULD BE $50-$60 SO THEY CHEATED US ON THE PRICE AS WELL.

I WOULD RECOMEND NOT GOING TO FANTASTIC SCAMS BUT IF YOU MUST BE VERY CAREFUL AND BE SURE TO PRICE CHECK WITH OTHER AREA SALONS. I CONTACTED THE CORPORATE OFFICE AND HAVE NOT HEARD BACK YET.
