 I have been a hair extensionist Since 1985 . I am well schooled in various methods of hair extensions . I recently  decided to take a refreshers course with Great Lengths which was required before I could order their hair . I did two clients that the hair felt a little dryer then what I was use to but they wore great lengths before.My third client I charged $3,000.00 that is what great Lengths suggest for my market $ 900.00 was the hair cost alone .10 hrs later when I started to cut the extensions I couldn't even comb through it to cut in the style . The next couple day's  my client was very unhappy with the tangling , dry  kinky crap hair  that Great Lengths claims that is the best hair you can get . I called them and they told me to send in a sample In  the meantime my client became very ill . So it took a few weeks before I could get them out I sent the hair to Angie in quality control She took 2 more weeks to tell me that there is no split ends, no tangling and there is nothing they can do to return the cost of the hair to my client. Not only is this company full of crap in the class we were told to hide the hair in a towel and never let the client see how much hair your using .They will never take a clients card number for the purchase of the hair .We were also told never tell the client how much the hair cost .This tells me this is one big rip off company that can't stand behind their product .The average cost of great  lengths extensions are $1400.00 -$3200.00  .Stylist and consumers avoid this method if you don't want to get ripped off !
