I ordered coconut opening tools (knives) and a "coconut tap" for obtaining coconut water.  I was charged (a lot) for several items on the website - plus a shipping fee of $18.  (I live in Key West, the company is supposedly in Orlando - both in the state of Florida.) 

The items were for a very special birthday - so I emailed that info (on August 2 - birthday on August 11).  PayPal sent an email that they had charged my card.  Mr. Trousedale sent an email that he was sure that the items would arrive well before the birthday, in the next few days. 

The items did not arrive within 5 days, I got worried and called Mr. Trousedale, as the shipping info to the USPS included an invalid tracking number.  Mr. Trousedale called back, and told me that he had also called USPS and that the post office could not find the order; I stressed that this was very important, and even offered to pay further for FedEx - he assured me he would re-ship the items.  Several more days passed, I called again, he stated he had again sent the items priority mail USPS - but didn't have the tracking number and he would call me back with it.  He did not call back. 

The birthday came and went - with MUCH disappointment.  I emailed again, and received a reply that he was "driving back from St. Louis, and would take care of it as soon as he returned."  I think we all know where this is going.  He did NOT "take care of it"; I haven't heard another peep, even though I have practically begged through emails for my merchandise.  I emailed two days ago, again, to implore this guy to do the right thing, and at least refund my $; and said that if he did not do so within 48 hours, I was going to report him as a rip off - that's what he is - do not deal with Coco Joe's Coconuts in Orlando!

I got an actual address

Issues with an order

I spoke with the customer and did in fact inform her that her order would be shipped by her daughter's birthday.

We did in fact ship the package as promised, and could not locate it in transit. I did in fact send another package overnight as promised, and got it returned to sender.  We also informed paypal to refund the purchase, which they are in the process of doing as we speak, and have always communicated via e-mail with the customer.

It also states on the website that it may take up to 10 business days for an item to be shipped for the time of payment. 

We are sorry that a customer has had a negative experience, however we cannot control the package once it is shipped.  Nor can we control the fact that the second package was returned to sender.

I do not know if the address provided at check out was the correct address and that was the reason it was returned or not.  But I do know that we have issued the refund and paypal can take up to 10 business days to process that refund (however you should have gotten an e-mail right away from paypal).

We do not like to see any customers unhappy and we will do what ever we can to correct the issues. 

Note to all future customers of Coco Joe's Coconuts, we aim to have top satisfaction and will do what ever it takes to reach that goal.  However please make sur you read the shipping and payment information before ordering.  If this is not something that will meet your standards, then we urge you not to proceed with your checkout.

Remember we use paypal for all of our orders so that there is always a third party just to make sure people are not "ripped off." Also ALL orders are subject to a 10 bassoonist hold before they are shipped out.

Thank you for your time, and ww formally appologize to Rudey and her daughter.  Although a refund has been placed, we have emailed the customer to confirm the shipping address and would still like to make sure a third attempt at sending the order is successful.

It looks like on the other two packages I did not add the Suite number or the business name and thats why they were returned.  A new package was sent out today priority and it will get there monday or tuesday.

If it does not get there by Tuesday then I willd rive to Key West and deliver it myself.
