Lowes Home Improvement Center ripoff SORRY SORRY Service--- They "FORGOT" About me Free tile doesn't make up for all the stress and anxiety. Tyler Texas

I visited he local Lowes for tile several times, and they kept being "out" of the particular one I needed. I was headed out the door empty handed, and was stopped by the manager on staff at the time.

He told me to go back to the tile dept. and order it. I went back there, and told the young man in that dept. that I wanted to order 6 boxes of tile and showed him which one. He said for me to wait at his desk and he would be right with me after he finished waiting on the customer he was helping.

I waited for an hour, asked THREE employees that walked by if they could help, they all gave me the same answer, "It`s not my dept."

Finally, I got another employee to hunt down the man in the floor dept. She did and told me where he was. When I hunted him down, he was waiting on customers, but not the one he had been waiting on. When he saw me, he said, "OH MY GOD, I FORGOT ABOUT YOU!".

I said a few choice words, walked out (empty-handed) and went home and emailed the corporate office. Two days later, I received a phone call. My caller-id showed it to be Lowes.

When I answered, the man was asking for the name of my hometown, Ben Wheeler, and not my name. I told him that Ben Wheeler is a town, not my name. He shuffled some papers, then asked for me. I said, "boy, ya`ll are screwed up, arent you?" Well, they gave me the six boxes of tile I need to finish the half-done living room floor for FREE, but that still doesn't make up for all the stress and anxiety. I HAVE NOT been back to that store.
