A.G.E advertised a physiotherapy assistant job on gum tree. The advert states no experience required as training will be provided. I applied for the job attaching my cv.

Two days later I recieved a call from a lady by the name of Chelsi. She told me that she has recieved my cv, but she said she notice that I do not have any CPR  or Manual handling qualifiations on there. She then went on to say that, she has arranged an interview for me with a physiotherapy and that I must complete the CPR and Manual handling course before she can send me for the interview. She gave me the interview date but no further details.

I then agree to do the course with the anticipation that there is an interview lined up for me. I  reluctantly paid £250 for both courses. Chelci told me that I will get a call from the physiotherapy 2 days after the course to arrange a location for my interview. On the day of the course I travelled to the location in London bridge. The tutor was late. The quality of the teaching was very poor, the writing on the projector was blury and the tutor did not know how to adjust it so I could barely see anything. At that point I started to think this must be a con. At the end of the session we were not given any hand outs, so I ask for an handout and the tutor said he was not instructed to give handouts.

Two days after the course I waited anciusly for the phone call from the physiotherapist but did not recieve any call. I then phoned chelci to let her know, she did not seen as enthusiastic as she was at the start. She said there is nothing she can do. At that point I new it was a big scam. Up to this day I have not recieved any interviews or calls from any one at A.G.E train. I called them every week but get no where

I really dont want them to get away with it. They are still advertising job on gumtree and totaljob. People please dont fall for it, as conviencing as it may look, its a scam.
