National Financial Advisors promised $200k, paid $1500 picked up by fed ex, filled out long business plan questionare, they wont return phone calls. Henderson, Nevada

I was contacted by NFA in January of 2009. My business was struggling at this time and a grant sounded like a great way to help it. I called all their refrences and check the BBB. Everything checked out. I scraped together $1500 to give to them and received my welcome packet soon after. I filled out what they needed. Through this process they answered when I called and called me back.

Then.... I didn't hear anything back for a while so I called and was told that I needed to fill out a business plan questionare. So I filled it out and sent it in. Then was contacted by someone that was associated with NFA but they needed an additional $2500 to finish paperwork so i could get the $300K. I told them I wanted to talk to NFA to find out why the first $1500 wasn't bringing me any money. They gave me the name and number to the rep that worked with my account at NFA. I have been calling that number for 3 days and the recording says that all reps are busy assisting other customers and if you are an existing customer to leave a message and someone will contact you within 24 hours.

I got online to find an email address to try and contact NFA. Thats when I found "bustatheif" and "rip off report" . Everyone seems to have the same story as me.
