I just think Aflac demands so much information that consumers get frustrated and give up on covered claims. You certainly work for the claim money with Aflac. I am sick of all my personal information being passed on with them. They demand billing information, test results, etc. They are not paying the bill nor are they doctors so why do they need this? They only need proof of the claim and the test was done in my opinion. I can not in a clear mind reccommend Aflac to anybody any more. I am canceling my policy after 3 years and a few claims that have been paid. It is not worth having my social security number, etc being passed on everytime they are suppose to pay out.

It's called fraud

AUTHOR: Robert - Irvine (U.S.A.)

They are not paying the bill nor are they doctors so why do they need this?
-
Because they are still paying you money and that payment relies on the results.

They only need proof of the claim and the test was done in my opinion
-
Sorry but your opinion doesn't matter.  They are not going to just take the "word" of someone because of the amount of fraud.   If you want to complain about the amount of information you have to give them then perhaps you should look at the people comitting fraud.

I am canceling my policy after 3 years and a few claims that have been paid
-That may be more of the problem.  If you have multiple claims they are going to take harder looks at you.  Again this is because of the amount of Insurance fraud that is out there.  If you are doing nothing wrong then you have nothing to worry about.

Don't expect any other insurance company to just hand over money without verifying the condition.

You are a LIAR!

AUTHOR: Anonymous56789 - Amherst (USA)

Aflac does NOT require anyone to give their social security number.  You are lying.

Tell you what; if you disagree so much with how they conduct business, then I have a suggestion for you.  Why don't you start your own insurance company?  After all, Mr. Big Shot, you seem to know so much about how to file claims, etc, then go do it yourself?

If you did (and I'm sure you can't...something tells me you wear a paper hat at your job) you woudl find out that thousands of folks try and collect money they don't have a right to, by submitting fraudulent claims.  Millions, literally, per year.    THAT is why insurance companies have to ask for sufficient documentation.

Come to think of it, maybe the reason you're so upset is that YOUR claims are fraudulent.  After all, why would you object to submitting an itemized bill for medical services?   Aflac is bound by HIPPA laws to keep all your informaiton private and confidential.  And they've never had a security leak.  What's your problem?

Your post is ridiculous. And come to think of it, so are you.  Go back to watching Star Trek re-runs in your mother's basement.

Crazy poor wacko aflac employee I am glad I don't use them,  If this Is the way they do business unprofessional behavior there Is a nicer way to speak to people besides calling people liars.  Go screw yourself punk.

A**hole like this so call aflac employee need,   to learn they can't talk to people like that.  Who the "Hell" they think they are "GOD" & they can treat people like dirt.  I'll make sure never to use aflac.

This employee deserves a good firing,  but businesses these days allows bad employees to get away with abusing custormers.  Then aflac tells there employees to come to rip-off report to attack people who post complaints agaisnt them.  Losers.

Pot calling the kettle black

AUTHOR: Anonymous56789 - Amherst (USA)

Too funny.    You are giving lessons on how to talk to people?  Listen buddy, I didn't use profanity in my post...yours shows how little class or education you have.   Who calls people names like that?

Tell you what,  I should not have used the exact word "liar" but I do believe sincerely that the OP was "ly-ING".   When false information is posted, I think it should be pointed out.   But why bother trying to talk to you; you really discredited yourself by using obscene language.  Hope you don't have children, and if you do, hope you clean up that filthy mouth when you talk to them.

And as far as you informing everyone here that you will 'never use' Aflac, I do have a response to that:

1.  No one cares
2.  You are the one who will end up losing.  Despite your calling me disgusting and profane names, I still hope you never end up having to fight Cancer and discovering that the out of pocket expenses and lost income have an 80% chance of putting you into bankruptcy.    Folks work hard all their lives to save a little change, and then one illness comes along and BAM! all the money just evaporates.    Even if you have disabilty insurance (and I hope that you do) try living on it AND fighting cancer.  It cannot be done...the most you can recover from any disability insurance is 70% of your gross income...you simply cannot support yourself and pay your bills, living expenses, deductibles, co-pays, gas for your automobile, etc, on a reduced amount of money (from what you are used to bringing home.)

The Cancer Plan is brilliant, and Aflac pays out MILLIONS of dollars a year to literally hundreds of thousands of people who were unfortunate enough to be diagnosed and treated for this horrible disease.    It is NOT a disability plan (heck, you can still be working full time and collect on it)...yes, there are 60-odd complaints on this board about Aflac.  Not bad considering the 68 million policyholders that are out there.

But again, it's voluntary and up to you.  Personally, I think you are making a mistake.

And finally, once again, I apologize to the OP...while I do think you were lying, I shouldn't have used the word "liar"...I just get hot under the collar sometimes reading all the false cr@p out there about Aflac...and seeing people trash the company when in reality, their problem is with them.

Grow up If you're a employee of aflac why are you hiding your real name you're a gutless coward to come on this site to attack people immature adult

AUTHOR: HateAflac - United states (USA)

If you're really a employee of aflac why are you hiding your real name?.  Your insults don't bother people.  I would never do business with aflac If,  this Is how they treat people.  Because they don't like when somebody says anything agaisnt them.

Of course these businesses accuse people of lying.  Could It be aflac Is committing "FRAUD".  What does aflac have to "HIDE" for them to send employees to harass posters on ripoffreport.
